Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CallFiltr mobile application and related web services ("CallFiltr" or the "Service"), a product of Vriksha AI ("we", "us" or "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using CallFiltr, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. The Service

CallFiltr gives you Ira, an AI assistant that can answer calls forwarded to it, talk with callers, take messages, block spam, forward or switch calls to you, record calls when you choose, send WhatsApp or SMS replies on your behalf and show you transcripts and summaries. Features vary by plan, device (Android or iPhone) and carrier.

CallFiltr works by forwarding calls from your mobile number to Ira using your carrier's call-forwarding service. You can turn forwarding off at any time; the app shows you how.

4. Your Account

5. Your Responsibilities When Using Ira

6. AI Limitations

Ira uses artificial intelligence. It can mishear callers, put a call in the wrong category, miss urgency, or produce a transcript or summary that is incomplete or wrong. Always check important details with the caller.

CallFiltr is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it for emergencies or time-critical calls. Calls to emergency numbers are not handled by Ira.

7. Plans, Trials and Billing

8. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the CallFiltr app on devices you own or control.

You may not:

9. Your Content

You own your content, including your settings, lists, message templates, recordings and call data. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

11. Intellectual Property

The app, the Ira assistant, its voices, our design, logos and trademarks belong to Vriksha AI or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the license above.

12. Third-Party Services

CallFiltr relies on third-party services such as your mobile carrier, WhatsApp, Google Play and the Apple App Store. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

13. Suspension and Termination

You can stop using CallFiltr and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy and data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service or if required by law. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that every call will be answered, forwarded, categorised or transcribed correctly, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, for example during network, carrier or server outages.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Vriksha AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including missed calls, lost business or lost data, arising from your use of CallFiltr. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vriksha AI against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service, including unlawful recording or messages sent on your behalf.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use CallFiltr after that means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [CITY], India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
